Market observers had previously anticipated that the Avata 360, along with the standard edition of the Pocket 4, would debut in March 2026. The latest promotional material confirms that the product rollout is proceeding according to this schedule.

The Avata 360 retains a "Cinewhoop" design aesthetic but appears slightly larger than its predecessor, the Avata 2, with an approximate weight of 377 grams. The defining feature of the new model is a dual-lens configuration derived from the DJI Osmo 360. This system allows for seamless switching between spherical 360-degree capture and a single-lens First Person View (FPV) mode.

Technical specifications leaked alongside the promotional materials indicate the drone is equipped with dual 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors capable of capturing 38-megapixel static images and 120-megapixel panoramic photos. Video capabilities include 8K resolution at 50 frames per second (fps) for panoramic footage and 4K at 120fps for standard video, supporting 10-bit D-Log M color profiles.

The hardware features a tiltable gimbal designed for immersive 8K panoramic recording. Safety and structural improvements include integrated propeller guards for indoor flight, a compact body designed for wind resistance, and omnidirectional sensors for obstacle avoidance. The drone utilizes the O4 transmission system and is fully compatible with DJI Goggles N3, Motion Controller 3, and the DJI RC 2 controller.

Pricing structures have also emerged ahead of the launch. The standalone Avata 360 unit is priced at 2,988 yuan (US$415). A single-battery kit with the RC 2 controller is listed at 3,988 yuan. The comprehensive "Fly More Combo," which includes the drone, extra batteries, and the RC 2 controller, is priced at 5,688 yuan. The premium "Motion Fly More Combo," which bundles the N3 Goggles, is set at 6,999 yuan.
