Honor Reportedly to Unveil Upgraded AI Agent on October 23

A recent report has revealed that Chinese technology firm Honor is preparing to launch a significantly upgraded artificial intelligence agent for its devices later this month. The new AI is expected to be a central feature of the company's upcoming developer conference, signaling a deeper push into on-device intelligence.

According to a technology news report published on October 10, 2025, Honor Device has scheduled its Honor Global Developer Conference (HGDC) 2025 for October 23 in Shenzhen. The event will serve as the platform for the official unveiling of the new AI agent.

The upcoming launch is an enhancement of Honor's existing YOYO personal assistant, which is integrated across its ecosystem of smartphones, tablets, and wearables. The report states that the upgraded agent will be built around three key principles: being more "viewable, memorable, and executable." This follows a similar AI-focused announcement at the company's 2024 conference, indicating a consistent strategy to advance its AI capabilities.

Honor confirmed the event in a public invitation to global developers, encouraging them to "discuss the future picture of the AI device ecosystem." The company’s promotional materials also referenced its upcoming MagicOS 10, suggesting the new AI features will be deeply integrated into the next version of its operating system.

Further details about the AI agent may emerge ahead of the main conference. The report noted that a preview could be offered during the launch event for Honor's new Magic 8 series smartphones, scheduled for October 15. The announcement positions Honor to compete more aggressively in the global race among smartphone makers to deliver increasingly sophisticated and personalized on-device AI experiences.
