The era of rapid double-digit domestic growth is drawing to a close. With market penetration rates breaching 50% and vehicle ownership approaching theoretical saturation points, major manufacturers such as BYD and Geely are adjusting to a "low-growth" normal. The driving force for 2026 is no longer about capitalizing on a blank slate of new users, but rather a fierce battle for market share replacement and erosion among competitors.
