Meanwhile, a memory cost spiral is forcing a structural repricing of the world's largest smartphone market — a reminder that supply chain economics remain as consequential as any software breakthrough.


• NIO's Chip Unit Shenji Raises RMB 2.3 Billion, Unlocking a New Valuation Layer

NIO announced on February 26 that its autonomous driving chip subsidiary Shenji (GeniTech) has secured RMB 2.257 billion (approximately US$311 million) in external investment, with outside investors and an employee stock ownership plan taking a combined 37.3% stake.
