Chinese Robotics Firm Unitree Draws Crowds at CES 2026 With Boxing Humanoid and Robo-Dogs

Unitree, a Chinese robotics company, emerged as one of the most-watched exhibitors at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, drawing continuous crowds to its booth with demonstrations of quadruped robots and a humanoid boxing machine.

The company showcased a range of products spanning compact robotic dogs, industrial-grade quadrupeds, and a humanoid robot capable of performing boxing movements. The demonstrations highlighted Unitree's capabilities in motion control, sensory coordination, and robotic design, according to company representative Xia Geng.

The smaller robotic dog models, priced at approximately 9,000 yuan ($1,240), performed agile movements including rapid walking, directional changes, jumping, and autonomous balancing. Xia told reporters these units target research, education, interactive displays, and daily applications, with their accessible pricing driving demand.

Unitree's larger quadruped robots focused on high-payload capacity scenarios, demonstrating stable movement across complex terrain. These industrial units are positioned for inspection tasks, industrial operations, and specialized environment applications.

The humanoid boxing robot became a focal point of the booth, executing punching sequences, defensive postures, and combination movements. The display demonstrated dynamic stability and explosive power, showcasing technical advances in motion control and real-time response for humanoid platforms. The demonstrations gave attendees a direct view of potential applications spanning entertainment, competitive sports, and research.

The exhibit attracted attention from international media and industry professionals beyond general attendees. Industry observers noted that Unitree's presence at CES reflects the rapid development of Chinese robotics in both quadruped and humanoid categories, while signaling the company's push into international markets and its effort to raise visibility within global robotics competition.

CES 2026, which opened January 6, continues its focus on artificial intelligence and technology innovation. The embodied intelligence sector drew particular attention this year, with demonstrations of household robots, companion robots, and units designed for industrial and lifestyle applications.
