DJI Avata 360 FPV Drone Leaked Ahead of March Launch: Pricing and Key Specs Revealed

DJI Avata 360 FPV Drone Leaked Ahead of March Launch: Pricing and Key Specs Revealed

A new DJI first-person-view drone is on the verge of its official debut, with leaked packaging images and hands-on footage surfacing online, offering the clearest picture yet of the upcoming model's specifications and pricing structure.

According to a report published by Chinese drone and photography media outlet on February 26, 2026, real-world units of the DJI Avata 360 have already reached testers and content creators, with early footage circulating on YouTube. The report cites Italian drone channel Quadricotteronas the source of the first official box images.

The leaked packaging reportedly confirms that the Avata 360 is capable of shooting 8K/60fps HDR 360-degree video — a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the Avata 2. Side-by-side imagery suggests the new model is marginally larger than the Avata 2, indicating a more capable but slightly bulkier form factor.

On pricing, the report outlines a projected lineup for the Chinese domestic market. The base unit is expected to retail at RMB 2,988 yuan (approximately US$412), with bundled configurations ranging from RMB 3,988 yuan for a single-battery RC 2 combo to RMB 6,999 yuan for a full motion-control package that includes DJI's N3 Goggles. These figures represent the outlet's own estimates rather than officially confirmed prices.

According to sources cited in the report, DJI plans to announce two major products in March 2026: the Avata 360 and the Pocket 4 compact camera. A higher-end Pocket 4 Pro is expected to follow at a later date. The Avata 360 is anticipated to launch first in mainland China before a broader international rollout.

The report does not include any official statement from DJI, and the company has yet to publicly confirm the product or its specifications. All pricing and timeline details remain unverified ahead of an official announcement.

If the March launch timeline holds, the Avata 360 would mark DJI's first major FPV drone release of 2026, entering a market where immersive 360-degree capture is gaining traction among both recreational pilots and professional content creators. The 8K/60fps HDR capability, if confirmed, would position the Avata 360 as one of the most capable consumer FPV drones currently available, potentially reinforcing DJI's dominance in the segment.
