Leaked Image Suggests DJI Osmo Pocket 4 to Sport Dual-Camera System

A recent report has revealed that DJI Technology, the world’s leading drone and camera gimbal manufacturer, may be preparing to launch a new version of its popular Osmo Pocket camera, the Pocket 4, featuring a significant hardware upgrade in the form of a dual-camera system.

According to a report published by Chinese tech media outlet Aerial on August 31, 2025, the information stems from a leaked image of the purported device. The image was initially shared on the social media platform X by a user named Igor Bogdanov, a known source for tech leaks.

The most prominent feature shown in the image is the dual-camera setup on the gimbal head, a first for the Osmo Pocket series. While the source did not specify the function of the second lens, the report speculates it is likely a telephoto camera. This is based on the specifications of the current Osmo Pocket 3, which already features a 1-inch CMOS sensor with a 20mm equivalent wide-angle lens. The addition of a telephoto lens would offer greater optical zoom capabilities, a logical step up from the existing model.

The upgraded hardware is expected to impact the device's retail price. The existing Osmo Pocket 3 is priced at 3,499 yuan (approximately US$485). The inclusion of a second camera and associated components will likely drive the cost of the new model higher, although no specific pricing information has been disclosed.

The Aerial report also mentioned other rumored DJI products, including a new compact action camera named the DJI Osmo Nano. This device is said to feature a modular design similar to the DJI Action 2 and is reportedly scheduled for release before October 2025.

If confirmed, the introduction of a dual-camera system would represent a major evolution for the Osmo Pocket line, significantly enhancing its versatility for content creators. Such a feature would position the compact gimbal camera as a more formidable competitor to high-end smartphones and dedicated vlogging cameras, potentially strengthening DJI's position in the portable imaging market.
