Alibaba Cloud Partners With Nvidia to Accelerate Physical AI Applications

Alibaba Cloud and Nvidia Corp. announced a partnership in Physical AI technology at the 2025 Hangzhou Apsara Conference on September 24, aimed at accelerating development cycles for embodied intelligence and assisted driving applications.

Under the collaboration, Alibaba Cloud's artificial intelligence platform PAI will integrate Nvidia's Physical AI software stack to provide enterprise users with comprehensive platform services spanning data preprocessing, simulation data generation, model training and evaluation, robotic reinforcement learning, and simulation testing.

The integration will include Nvidia's complete Physical AI software suite, encompassing NVIDIA Isaac Sim, NVIDIA Isaac Lab, NVIDIA Cosmos, and Physical AI datasets. These tools will be combined with Alibaba Cloud's big data and AI platform capabilities to create an end-to-end infrastructure supporting the full development pipeline for physical AI applications.

The partnership positions both companies to capitalize on growing enterprise demand for AI-powered robotics and autonomous systems, as businesses seek to reduce development timelines for complex physical world applications. The collaboration leverages Nvidia's simulation and training technologies alongside Alibaba Cloud's cloud computing infrastructure to streamline the traditionally complex process of developing AI systems that interact with physical environments.
