ByteDance's presence dominated both production and broadcast infrastructure. Its enterprise unit Volcano Engine served as the exclusive AI cloud partner, while the company's Seedance 2.0 video generation model and Doubao large language models powered content creation across multiple performances. The company's AI programming tool TRAE secured advertising slots, and Doubao along with Douyin handled online interactions, real-time subtitles, and video streaming for viewers.

Multiple humanoid robot manufacturers secured prominent stage time, demonstrating capabilities ranging from acrobatic performances to practical task execution. The robotics displays extended beyond the main Beijing venue to regional broadcasts, where companies competed to showcase motion control, multi-robot coordination, and human-machine collaboration technologies. Online commentary noted the sharp contrast with previous years, with some viewers describing the broadcast as resembling "a tech product launch event."

Humanoid Robots Take Center Stage

Noetix Robotics deployed four humanoid robots across three product lines in a comedy sketch featuring veteran performer Cai Ming. The company's lineup included the sub-RMB 10,000 ($1,400) Bumi model standing 94 centimeters tall, the 1.2-meter N2 sports-oriented robot, and the 1.36-meter E1 general-purpose humanoid. April peony displays automatically invoked temperature, humidity, and lighting data from Luoyang, while July lotus presentations rendered based on West Lake water reflection properties. The system achieved sub-0.3-second latency in synchronizing performer movements with environmental changes, using UWB positioning chips in footwear and garment sensors to trigger real-time AI-generated animations.

The production maintained frame rates above 60 FPS to ensure seamless transitions between seasonal themes. Seedance 2.0 and China Media Group's "CMG Media Model 2.0" functioned as an intelligent director's assistant, automatically decomposing creative requirements and rendering storyboards for multiple performances.

China Media Group deployed its CMG Media Model 2.0 for large-scale Spring Festival Gala application for the first time, focusing on live-action special effects creation, scene construction, and fusion rendering. The Hefei segment also featured teams led by quantum physicist Pan Jianwei, deep space exploration researchers, and fusion energy scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, presenting artistic interpretations of "artificial sun" fusion reactors and the "Micius" quantum satellite.
