DJI Pocket 4 Specifications Leaked Ahead of Official Launch

Chinese drone manufacturer DJI's upcoming handheld camera, the Pocket 4, has reportedly been revealed through leaked specifications, showcasing significant upgrades in imaging capabilities and features.

According to a report published by Chinese tech blog "BuKeZhaJi" on December 18, 2025, the unreleased device's full specifications have surfaced online ahead of its official announcement.

The leaked information indicates that DJI Technology plans to release both a standard Pocket 4 and a Pro variant. The devices will feature a 1-inch square CMOS sensor with 50 megapixels, representing a substantial improvement over previous generations. Video recording capabilities include 6K resolution, along with high frame rate options of 4K at 120fps and 1080p at 240fps for slow-motion footage. The camera will support D-Log M 10-bit color and incorporate lidar-assisted full-pixel fast autofocus technology.

Other specifications include a 2.2 to 2.5-inch rotatable OLED touchscreen for display and control, ActiveTrack 7.0 with AI enhancements for subject tracking, and 3-axis gimbal stabilization. The device weighs approximately 190 grams and features omnidirectional stereo microphones with compatibility for DJI Mic 2 and Mic 3 systems. Battery life is estimated at up to 180 minutes, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options included.

The report did not specify an exact release date for the Pocket 4, though previous rumors have suggested potential delays. DJI has not officially confirmed these specifications or commented on the leak.

If accurate, the Pocket 4 would position DJI to compete more aggressively in the premium compact camera market, offering professional-grade features in a portable form factor. The company's handheld gimbal camera line has gained popularity among content creators and vloggers since the original Pocket series launched.
