Huawei Reportedly Planning Major Smartphone Launches for Q4 2025

A recent industry leak has revealed that Huawei Technologies is preparing to launch two major smartphone series in the final quarter of 2025, including its flagship Mate 80 lineup and the mid-range Nova 15 series.

According to a report published by tech publication on September 10, 2025, citing insider sources, the Chinese technology giant is accelerating its product roadmap for the remainder of the year.

The leak, attributed to industry tipster FixedFocus, suggests that Huawei will introduce the Mate 80 series in November, potentially earlier than previous generation releases. The flagship lineup is expected to include four models: the Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro+, and Mate 80 RS Ultimate. These devices are anticipated to feature enhanced camera technology and improved specifications compared to the current Mate 70 series.

Following the November launch, Huawei reportedly plans to unveil its Nova 15 series in December, marking the second Nova lineup release for 2025. The company is expected to complement these smartphone launches with additional products including wearables, tablets, and televisions.

This development comes shortly after Huawei's September 4 debut of its second-generation tri-fold smartphone and ahead of a global smartwatch event scheduled for September 19. The accelerated timeline suggests the company is intensifying efforts to maintain its competitive position in the premium smartphone segment despite ongoing market challenges.

Huawei has not officially confirmed either launch timeline. The reported schedule, if accurate, would position the company for a significant market push during the crucial holiday shopping season, potentially strengthening its position in both domestic and international markets where it maintains operations.
