OPPO Unveils Find N6 Foldable Smartphone Targeting 'Zero Crease' Display Market

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO has officially released its latest flagship foldable device, the Find N6, introducing proprietary manufacturing techniques designed to virtually eliminate the visible crease on the internal display, a common pain point in the foldable sector.

According to reports from Chinese technology media published today, the Shenzhen-based company unveiled the device during a product launch event, highlighting significant upgrades in materials science and hinge engineering compared to its predecessor.

The report details that the Find N6 addresses the "crease" issue through a combination of chip-level polymer 3D printing technology and a new generation of titanium alloy hinges. While traditional precision processing limits crease depth to approximately 0.2mm, OPPO claims its micron-level printing accuracy and "Sky Memory Glass" allow for a near-seamless surface. The device features a 6.62-inch outer display supplied by BOE Technology Group. and an 8.12-inch inner screen manufactured by Samsung Electronics., both utilizing LTPO technology with a peak brightness of 1800 nits.

Regarding performance, the Find N6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, positioning it at the forefront of 2026 flagship performance. The chassis, constructed from titanium alloy, measures 8.93mm when folded and weighs 225g. Despite the slim profile, OPPO has integrated a 6,000mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The camera system includes a high-resolution 200-megapixel main sensor utilizing Samsung’s HP5 sensor, alongside periscope telephoto and ultra-wide lenses.

The media report also highlights new software integrations aimed at business productivity. The device introduces a "Panoramic Free Window" for multitasking and supports an AI-enhanced stylus. This accessory reportedly features generative AI capabilities, allowing users to convert rough hand-drawn sketches into professional charts or rendered design images instantly.

The Find N6 is priced starting at RMB 9,999 yuan (US$1,385) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, with the top-tier 1TB version supporting satellite communication priced at RMB 11,999 yuan (US$1,662). The report notes that while the Find N6 represents a comprehensive upgrade over the previous generation, it faces stiff competition from the recently released Honor Magic V6, which offers a lighter and thinner form factor at a slightly lower entry price point.

Industry analysts suggest that OPPO’s focus on eliminating mechanical imperfections like the screen crease reflects the maturing foldable market, where hardware durability and visual fidelity are becoming key differentiators for premium consumers.
