Vivo Unveils X300 Flagship Series With 200MP Zeiss Cameras

Vivo launched its new flagship smartphone lineup, the X300 series, in Shanghai, reinforcing its focus on high-end mobile imaging. Unveiled on October 13 to mark the company's 30th anniversary, the series includes the X300 and X300 Pro models, both featuring 200-megapixel camera systems developed in partnership with Zeiss.

The launch comes as Vivo aims to solidify its leading position in the Chinese smartphone market. According to recent industry data, Vivo held the top spot in China with over 17% market share as of late September 2025, extending a leadership streak of four consecutive years. The company is also a top contender in the premium segment, with phones priced between RMB 4,000 and RMB 6,000.

The top-tier X300 Pro is equipped with a versatile imaging system, headlined by a new 200-megapixel Zeiss APO super telephoto lens built around a sensor co-developed with Samsung. Its main camera uses a large 1/1.28-inch sensor co-developed with Sony. For performance, the device combines MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset with Vivo’s self-developed V3+ imaging chip, achieving an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 4.1 million. The Pro model also supports advanced video functions, including 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording.

The standard X300 model is designed as a more compact flagship, featuring a 6.31-inch display. It incorporates a 200-megapixel Zeiss main camera, utilizing the same sensor found in the Pro model's telephoto lens, aiming to deliver premium photography in a smaller form factor.

Both models in the series are powered by second-generation semi-solid-state batteries, with capacities of 6510mAh for the X300 Pro and 6040mAh for the X300. They run on Vivo's new OriginOS 6 and feature IP68/IP69-rated protection.

The vivo X300 series will be available for purchase starting October 17. The standard X300 starts at RMB 4,399 yuan (US$607), while the X300 Pro is priced from RMB 5,299. The Pro lineup also includes a satellite communication variant.
