Agibot Launches Six Robot Product Lines on E-commerce Platforms, Accelerating Commercial Rollout
Chinese robotics company Agibot has launched six core product lines on its official online store and JD.com, marking a significant shift from technology development to commercial deployment as the company seeks to monetize its humanoid and service robot technologies.
The product launch spans humanoid robots, robotic hands, quadruped robots and cleaning robots, targeting applications from entertainment and education to industrial manufacturing. The move comes as Chinese robotics firms race to bring advanced robotics technologies to market amid growing competition in the sector.
Agibot demonstrated its technology capabilities through a 24-hour autonomous outdoor challenge in Shanghai, where its Expedition A2 humanoid robot operated continuously in extreme temperatures reaching 37°C, completing what the company claims is the world's first fully autonomous 24-hour outdoor walking and presentation task.
The commercial launch represents a critical test for the company's ability to translate technical capabilities into revenue-generating products across multiple industry verticals.
Humanoid Robots Lead Product Portfolio
Agibot's humanoid robot lineup centers on the Expedition A2 series and Lingxi X2 series, targeting different market segments. The Expedition A2 flagship model features high-precision facial recognition systems enabling automatic wake-up, personalized greetings, and proactive service delivery, supported by enterprise knowledge databases for multilingual conversations.
The company positioned the Expedition A2 Youth Edition at 198,000 yuan ($27,200) as a cost-effective option for entertainment applications, featuring full-scale humanoid design and group control capabilities. The Lingxi X2 series emphasizes emotional interaction through three variants covering entertainment, research, and commercial guidance applications.
The Lingxi X2 Youth Edition incorporates 27 degrees of freedom with bionic joints and flexible shells, capable of displaying over 30 micro-expressions. The Explorer Edition targets research applications with 31 degrees of freedom and modular architecture supporting interchangeable end-effectors.
Industrial Applications Drive Specialized Products
The Genie G1 general-purpose embodied intelligence robot features a 360-degree perception matrix comprising eight high-definition cameras and LiDAR systems. The robot can accurately identify object positions and obstacle distances, crossing 20-millimeter obstacles to maintain operational continuity in complex environments.
Agibot's OmniHand 2025 dexterous hand series includes lightweight and professional variants. The lightweight model weighs 500 grams with 16 degrees of freedom, while the professional version offers 19 degrees of freedom at 750 grams, targeting precision manufacturing in electronics and automotive assembly.
The D1 quadruped robot series spans entertainment, education, and industrial applications. The D1 Ultra industrial model carries 8-kilogram payloads with one-hour battery life under load, supporting security patrol functions through integrated surveillance equipment and alarm systems.
Market Strategy Emphasizes Customization
All products support scenario-based customization, with Agibot offering comprehensive services from hardware adaptation to software debugging based on industry-specific requirements. This customization approach aims to accelerate intelligent robot adoption across various sectors.
The commercial cleaning robot C5 features dual brush systems with 25-kilogram ground pressure and high-volume washing capabilities, designed for autonomous facility management including automatic charging, water refilling, and waste disposal.
Agibot has developed technical advantages in bionic joint control, environmental perception algorithms, and autonomous decision systems since its establishment. The simultaneous launch across multiple e-commerce platforms represents the company's transition from research and development to commercial market penetration.
