OnePlus Unveils Ace 6 Specifications Featuring 165Hz Display Ahead of Launch
OnePlus Technology is set to unveil its latest smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 6, alongside the flagship OnePlus 15 at a launch event scheduled for October 27, 2025. Louis Lee, President of OnePlus China, recently disclosed key specifications of the mid-range device, highlighting what the company describes as the most significant upgrade in the Ace series history.
The OnePlus Ace 6 will feature a 165Hz refresh rate display, making it the only device in its price segment to offer such specifications, according to official announcements. Compared to conventional 120Hz screens, the higher refresh rate delivers 45 additional frames per second, representing a 27 percent improvement in screen update speed.
The company has optimized 11 popular mobile games for high frame rate performance, including titles such as Delta Force and League of Legends: Wild Rift, ensuring compatibility across multiple refresh rate options including 165Hz, 144Hz, 120Hz, 90Hz, and 60Hz.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and house a 7,800mAh silicon-carbon anode battery with 120W fast charging capability. The phone will be available in four configurations: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB.
Additional features include IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K water and dust resistance ratings, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint recognition, and the pre-installed ColorOS 16 operating system. The device will be offered in three color options: black, gray, and white.
Lee characterized the Ace 6 as a device built with "Pro-level product capabilities" despite its standard positioning within the Ace lineup. The launch event is scheduled for 7:00 PM local time tonight.
